Feature: Infrared Sauna
November special: Single Drop-in Session: $20

Infrared Sauna New to Panacea Center is the infrared sauna. An infrared sauna differs from traditional saunas because it heats occupants with heaters instead of steam which heats the air around the occupant. Using infrared radiation, the user receives direct heat. This enables water molecules in the body to vibrate, causing a heat reaction through resonant absorption. In an infrared sauna, the infrared heater produces radiant energy that is similar to the heat from the sun, only without the harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. Infrared therapy is safe and beneficial to the user since the body quickly and easily absorbs infrared. As the body’s temperature increases, the capillaries expand to promote increased blood circulation and oxygen to all cells. Through perspiration, the skin, tissues and cells are purified as the body removes waste and environmental toxins. The infrared also provides added benefits such as helping reduce weight and cellulite, boosting the immune system, relieving muscle and arthritic joint pain and stiffness, improving skin quality, enhancing skin tone, and sprucing up soft tissue healing.

Experience the gentle comfort and feel the health benefits of the infrared sauna, the perfect therapy for a rainy day! Enjoy a November special on the infrared sauna at $20 for a single drop-in session. Hurry and book your appointment soon, before this great offer ends!

Q&A: Contact Thermography
Dr. Sanjay Mohan Ram, BSc (Hon), ND

Q: Is there an alternative to detecting problems in the breast or other parts of the body, besides a mammogram or X-ray?

A: Yes there is. At the Panacea Clinic, we use Contact Regulation Thermography (CRT 2000®), which is non-invasive, and radiation-free. It is based on the physiology of heat in humans. When there are disease processes in the human body, the body’s organs respond differently to stress. With the use of a very accurate thermal sensor such as the CRT, it is possible to measure and detect changes in the skin’s physiological response to stress. These changes may indicate the presence of a disease even at its earliest stage before a patient shows symptoms. These minute, detectable changes of the major organs produce data that can be used for adjunctive diagnosis of certain indications such as: abnormalities of the female breast, peripheral vascular disease, musculoskeletal disorders, extra-cranial cerebral and facial vascular disease, abnormalities of the thyroid gland, and various cancerous and inflammatory conditions. If you have any questions about thermography or would like to schedule an appointment for a CRT 2000® adjunctive diagnostic scan, please feel free to contact us.

Panacea means "universal remedy" in Greek. In Greek mythology, Panacea was the goddess of cures. Panacea was said to have a potion with which she healed the sick.

Our Services: Ozone Therapy
Ozone TherapyOne of the most pleasant and least invasive ways to use Ozone Therapy is via the steam sauna method. In this treatment, a specially designed steam cabinet accommodates an inflow of medical grade ozone and oxygen that mixes with the steam. The warm and gentle steam vapour purifies the body as all the fluids are safely cleaned and the cells and tissues are flushed with an oxygen-rich environment. The treatment helps with immediate stress reduction, relaxation and rejuvenation, cleaner and softer skin, increased energy levels, and more oxygen in the body. As well, the immune system is enhanced while the body is detoxified and provided with high levels of immunity from most common diseases.

Improve your health by cleansing and detoxifying your body with an ozone therapy session. Book your ozone therapy appointment today.
